Tristar WorldWide Chauffeur Services
Tristar Worldwide Chauffeur Services was founded in the UK in 1973, and now provides its services in major cities in 80 countries around the globe. Tristar services can be booked by phone, web, email, fax, GDS or through corporate travel portals, which creates formidable technology challenges for the company.
Darren Allsop, Chief Information Officer at Tristar, says, “We had to connect to a lot of booking providers on a lot of different platforms and we didn’t want to re- invent the wheel. We needed a single solution that would give us open-systems connectivity and Web access so we could book our vehicles through a large number of interfaces both here in the UK and in our overseas locations. We also needed to create common rules to connect our internal platform to multiple input systems without duplication of effort. Agrinet
“Agrinet implemented the ACS-Embrace business solution, which incorporates Rocket’s UniVerse Database software, over 16 years ago. Our decision then was based on price, functionality, customer service and support, system flexibility and agility, ease of use, and ease of access to data and reports. We chose to take full advantage of Rocket U2’s MultiValue database technology,” says Jaco Kriel, Managing Director at Agrinet.

Danny's Automotive
When Renier Smit first started as Danny’s financial manager, the company had a number of information systems that were not integrated. Inventory control didn’t connect to the general ledger, and payables and receivables didn’t interact seamlessly. This made it difficult to get accurate, up-to-date information for management to use in making key purchase decisions.
Valmont
Valmont uses CSSP’s CHEOPS data management system, built on Rocket U2, to standardise, process and analyse high volumes of data in real time, ensuring effective planning and completion of construction projects.
